Our Quality
Each of London Care’s local offices is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent body that regulates care provided in England by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and by voluntary organisations.
The CQC carries out regular and rigorous inspections of care providers and the outcomes of its inspections are shaped by priorities that include:
- making sure that care is centred on people’s needs
- making sure that their care protects people’s rights
- acting swiftly to eliminate poor quality care
- promoting high quality care.
The CQC currently rates the services delivered from all our local offices (except one which is awaiting inspection) as either ‘good’ (two stars) or ‘excellent’ (three stars). Comments from our latest CQC reports include:
“People are thoroughly assessed before being offered a service to ensure the agency can meet their needs. People are invited to participate in creating their own care plans. This enables them to retain control of all aspects of their lives.”
(London Care’s East Barnet office)
“The agency delivers personal care in a dignified, sensitive and respectful manner.” (London Care’s Holloway, office)
“London Care offers an extremely well-organised level of support … with a well-managed and consistent service.”
(London Care’s Peterborough office)
